The Andover High
School is a multi-story concrete and masonry structure constructed circa 1970. Due to problems between the
owner and the contractor, the renovation project was not completed. Peterson
Associates was retained by the Town of Andover to complete the replacement of
various building envelope systems. The scope of work included removal and
replacement of the existing steel framed windows with Architectural Aluminum
windows. Structural augmentation of existing brick masonry was performed to
facilitate the installation of new architectural aluminum windows. Plans and
specifications were prepared for the selected scope of work and provided to the
town. Peterson Associates assisted the town in obtaining competitive bids for
the work as per Massachusetts General law.
